Greenville FFA Student Wins District…On to State

Dalton Walls, a sophomore at Greenville High School, recently competed in the FFA Job Interview Contest at the District level. Prior to attending the contest he had to compose and send a resume and cover letter concerning his interest in the job of Farm Worker. At the contest, the student will fill in an application by hand and turn it in for grading purposes and then go into a room with either one or two judges and have a job interview to convince the judge that they are the one for the job. After the interview the student will go into another room and type up a follow-letter thanking the person for seeing them and asking for further action from their potential future employer. This is then scored along with how well they did in the interview. Dalton was outstanding at the contest and has earned the privilege to go on to the state competition which will take place Saturday, December 6th.    at The Ohio State University. The chapter is very excited about his accomplishment and wishes him the best of luck!
